Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 28, 2026

Sonodive is a music discovery service. This policy explains the information we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you when you use Sonodive.

Information we collect

When you sign in, we may receive basic account information from your authentication provider, such as your name, email address, profile image, and a provider-specific account identifier. We also store information you choose to add to your Sonodive profile.

As you use Sonodive, we may collect product activity such as searches, artists and genres explored, discovery paths, playback interactions, autoplay activity, playlist or export actions, feature usage, and technical diagnostics. We may also collect standard device and request information needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

How we use information

We use this information to provide your account, operate music discovery features, remember or improve your experience, measure product performance, diagnose problems, prevent abuse, understand how Sonodive is used, and develop new features.

Google account data

If you choose Google sign-in, Sonodive uses the basic identity information authorized by you to create and manage your account. Authentication is handled through our authentication provider. Sonodive does not receive your Google password.

If Sonodive separately asks you to authorize a Google or YouTube feature, such as exporting a playlist, that authorization is distinct from basic sign-in and will request only the permissions needed for that feature.

Third-party services

Sonodive relies on third-party services for functions such as authentication, hosting, database infrastructure, music metadata, embedded media, analytics, and playlist exports. When you interact with those services, their own privacy terms may also apply.

Cookies and local storage

We may use cookies or browser storage that are necessary for authentication, session continuity, preferences, product functionality, security, and measurement. We may update this section if advertising or additional analytics technologies are introduced.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers when necessary to operate Sonodive, comply with law, protect the service or its users, or complete an action you request.

Data retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate and improve Sonodive, maintain security and records, and meet legal obligations. Account deletion and additional privacy controls may be added as the beta develops. You may contact us to request deletion of personal account information.

Children

Sonodive is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

Sonodive is under active development. We may update this policy as the service changes. The date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision.
